Maria Kim is a wife, mother, teacher, daughter, sister, and friend. She currently serves as the Program Director of the Teacher Credential Program at La Sierra University. After working for 5 years teaching high school biology in South Central Los Angeles, she is thrilled to be able to mentor the next generation of teachers. She loves gardening, learning something new, watching Korean dramas, leading praise at church, and networking with new people. Her husband is Pastor Daniel Park from Yorba Linda SDA Church where they have been serving for over 10 years. They have two amazing children and a dog who is very annoying. She is excited to join us today to be a blessing and to be blessed.

SARAH Perez

Empowered by The Word

Sarah is the wife of Pastor Mario Perez, and together they joyfully serve at the Corona Seventh-day Adventist Church. She is also a proud mama to two sweet girls, Madison (10) and Avelynn (8), and she is currently expecting her third child-such a beautiful season of life! Sarah has a heart for ministry and a deep love for Jesus that shines through everything she does. She faithfully serves her church family in many areas including children's ministry, women's ministry, Bible journaling, the praise team, decorating team, and the children's story team. Whether she's creating a welcoming atmosphere or helping lead others into worship, her passion is always to point hearts toward Christ. Professionally, Sarah is a Speech-Language Pathologist who has worked with both children and adults. Today, she is dedicating her time full-time to her family, homeschooling her children, and continuing to serve the Lord through her church community.

BLER Sacay

Bler B. Sacay currently serves as a Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care, Veterans Administration - Loma Linda, CA. She is happily married to Pastor Elizer Sacay, SECC VP for Asian-Pacific Ministries, for 45 years. Jointly, they conduct evangelistic meetings with the theme: HomeLife Reset 360. They have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. Bler has a deep passion for ministry. Her heart for service-both in healthcare and in the church-reflects her commitment to caring for people in every aspect of life. During this retreat, she will discuss how God empowers women to self-care for service and His glory.
