Event Information for Registered Guests
See You on Friday!
Hi,
This email was sent on March 13, 2025.
Hi,
I can’t believe we’ll be together in just two weeks! The final plans are coming together nicely for our special time together. God is truly good!
I want to clarify the box project. You do not need to bring a dollhouse. A used shoebox will work perfectly. That may be easier to find than an Amazon box. The goal is for each attendee to bring a used box and a different piece of inexpensive miniature furniture that can fit inside the box. If several people are attending together, you can purchase a furniture set with multiple items from Walmart. Alternatively, you can find inexpensive single miniature furniture pieces at Hobby Lobby or Michaels, or small items at the Dollar store.
If you’ve already purchased items, bring them. We will make it work! We hope you will all enjoy the surprise when it comes together.
Please help spread the word that the hotel discount ends today, March 13, 2025, and the registration for the Women’s Retreat closes tomorrow, March 14, 2025.
Also, please like and share the daily Facebook prayers on https://www.facebook.com/TexasAdventistWomen as we continue to pray for this special retreat.
Warm regards always,
Sandy

Hi,
I’m anxiously counting down the days. It’s almost time to see you all and fellowship, inviting our lovely JESUS to make us more “Unstoppable” for HIM. Registration closes on Friday, March 14, 2025, and the hotel discount ends on Thursday, March 13, 2025. Please invite the women in your life to register today so they can join you for this wonderful, rejuvenating weekend. You can find the links at TexasAdventist.org/women.
We have had some more sisters join our retreat since our last announcement, so it is listed below. We don’t want anyone to miss out on any information. If you know someone registered for this event and they are not receiving these emails, please have them contact me at sandraleemars@txsda.org or Tamara Terry at tterry@txda.org to rectify the situation.
I am excited to share that Texas Conference President Elton DeMoraes will join us Friday night. Woohoo! These extraordinary events would not happen without YOU and our administration’s support. We are grateful we can have this time together.
Here are a few essential details that you need to know.
Each lady is responsible for bringing a gold or white tissue paper pack. The kind you put in gift bags to make them look fancy. You can find them at the Dollar store, Hobby Lobby, Walmart and Marshalls, to name a few places.
Please also bring a small cardboard box. A used Amazon box will work.
Plus, an inexpensive doll house set. From the Dollar store or Walmart will work.
If you are coming as a group, you can bring one cardboard box and a doll house set. Trust me, it’s going to be fun!
For clarification purposes, Friday night, you are NOT required to dress as a Bible character, but you can if you like. Church T-shirts are fine also.
Remember, on Sabbath morning, the dress code is spring floral colors.
Sabbath afternoon/evening “High Tea” is white attire with hats and fascinators. We will have a “fun hats and fantastic fascinators” contest, so we look forward to seeing your creativity.
Sunday morning is business casual.
Come prepared to work out on Sunday morning and bring your swimwear to enjoy the beautiful lazy river and pool on the property.
Those are all the announcements I have for now.
Please join us in sharing our 30 Days of Prayer messages posted daily on Facebook [https://www.facebook.com/TexasAdventistWomen] as we pray for GOD to do the most beautiful and positive work in all our lives, to make us Unstoppable for HIM.
Beautiful blessings always,
Sandy

Hi,
We are exactly one month away from coming together as sisters for a spiritually uplifting, beautiful weekend at our “Unstoppable for JESUS” Women’s Retreat at The Woodlands® Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton, on March 28-30, 2025!
I can’t wait to see you all! For some of us, it will be a reunion, and for others, it will be my happy pleasure to meet you for the very first time.
Ladies, I want you to imagine that the stage is set, and you are Queen Esther, going in to save her people. She always dresses in her finest regalia, so ladies, we are going to do the same.
Friday night, I know most of you are coming from a busy work week, so NO special attire is required. Your church T-shirts can be worn if desired.
Sabbath morning, however, I ask you to come arrayed in your beautiful shades of spring (pinks, oranges, yellows, greens, tangerines, lavenders and our Texasbluebonnets). Let’s make the resort come alive, in royal style, like a garden of beautiful flowers after the fall as we “go in unto our KING,” Esther 4:16 KJV.
Sabbath afternoon is when Queen Esther invites the king again for dinner. To do so, we will have “High Tea,” all dressed in splendid white dresses because we plan to have “pure” fun!
Sunday morning is business casual as we attend our “Business Bootcamp.”
Our presenters are excited and ready to empower you spiritually, emotionally, physically and financially!
For one of our team-building exercises, we will, like Queen Esther, work on rebuilding our lives as we seek to become “Unstoppable for JESUS.”
I will share more about this exercise and the inexpensive craft items you will need to bring once registration closes so everyone knows what to bring.
There is still time and space available for you to invite a sister, co-worker, neighbor or friend to come along with you to experience the transformative power of JESUS in the life of a Queen, like yourself. Even though the website says that the regular registration ends today, I extended it just for you until Sunday, March 2, 2025, so you have a bit more time to encourage the women in your life to sign up. They can find the registration link at TexasAdventist.org/women.
Remember to pack your swimwear to enjoy the beautiful amenities of the resort.
For those of you who registered multiple ladies under the same email address, please be sure to share this message and those I will share in the future to keep them informed. You can email events@txsda.org to update someone’s email address so they can receive their email directly.
Remember ALWAYS, you are a daughter of THE KING, and you are Blessed and Beautiful!
Warm regards always,
Sandy
